Dr. Bartolo Espana, DDS
With over a decade of experience in dentistry, Dr. Bartolo Espana founded Evergreen Grace Dental Care with a clear mission: to create a patient-focused practice where quality always takes priority over quotas. Dr. Espana believes exceptional dentistry begins with truly understanding each patient’s unique needs, concerns, and goals. Whether you’re visiting for a routine cleaning, exploring dental implants, or considering clear aligners, Dr. Espana approaches every case with meticulous attention to detail.
Education and Professional Training
Dr. Espana earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco — one of the few accredited dental programs in the country to offer an accelerated three-year curriculum. Before dental school, he completed undergraduate studies in kinesiology, grounding his clinical approach in a deep understanding of the human body.
He holds Mastership status through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (MAAID) — one of the most demanding credentials in the field, requiring documented case experience, written examinations, and extensive continuing education. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Washington State Dental Association (WSDA), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). His continuing education includes advanced coursework through Spear Education, with a focus on comprehensive treatment planning and cosmetic dentistry.
